Italian Cheese Salad with various Ingredients
This tangy, oregano-flavored,crunchy cheese salad is a all time favorite for pasta lovers. Paneer and bean sprouts add to the protein nutrition to salad and it is dressed in an interesting combination of garlic, herbs, pine nuts, chilli flakes and lemon juice.
Preparation Time: 20 mins
To Be Mixed Into A Dressing :
1 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp finely chopped basil leaves
1 tsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp chopped pinenuts (chilgoza)
salt to taste
1/4 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 tsp dried oregano
Other Ingredients :
1/2 cup boiled pasta (of your choice)
1 cup low-fat paneer (cottage cheese) , cut into 25 mm. (1”) cubes
6 to 8 cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup bean sprouts
6 to 8 stuffed olives
Cooking Method :
Mix all the salad ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Put it in a refrigerator to chill.
Add the dressing before serving and toss well.
