141th Rathyatra Of Lord Jagannath Concludes Peacefully

The 141th rathyatra of Lord Jagannath passed off peacefully amid tight security with lakhs of devotees thronging roads to capture a glimpse of the deity in a grand procession.

The splendid procession comprised decorated elephants, trucks mounted with tableaux portraying Indian culture, besides three chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balram and their sister Subhadra.

The yatra passed through sensitive areas of Kalupur, Dariyapur and Shahpur.

Ahmedabad rathyatra in last one decade have showed communal harmony. The people from all religion participate in this annual event that has marked the event as the ‘event of common people’ in which Lord Jagannath himself goes to devotees.

Today the roads of Ahmedabad city were echoed with ‘Jai Ranchhod Makhan Chor’. Rathyatra was greeted by local leaders of minority community in the sensitive areas from where it passed through. They welcomed the procession obsession and enthusiasm.
