After BSF Jawan’s Video, A Letter From BSF Jawan Reveals The Hardships Soldiers Faces At Frontier

After BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav's viral video showing the awful quality of food served to him at his post in Jammu and Kashmir. India Today has now accessed a letter written by another BSF jawan to the Home Ministry exposing the deplorable state of affairs at the border.. Inputs from the letter written to Union Home Minister by the BSF jawan: In his 9-page confidential letter, the soldier expresses all the problems related to basic needs like food, clothing, housing, deployment, duty hours and weapons. In his letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the jawan even said that they are put on duty for 20 hours straight inspite of the 8-hour duty rule on paper. The jawan, said that the amount allocated for food is not spent on food but on other activities of the day. The letter also said that nothing is followed as per the rules of the Central Armed Police Force. After a video went viral by the Tej Bahadur, a jawan of the 29th battalion of Seema Suraksha Bal in Jammu and Kashmir, showing the hardships of the jawans this letter by BSF jawan to home minister creates a corner of chaos in the ministry.
