NewsX predicts BJP defeat in Bihar
New Delhi : The BJP and its allies are set to lose the battle for the Bihar assembly, winning only 95 of the 243 seats, a NewsX exit poll said on Thursday.
It said the BJP and its three allies would secure 90-100 seats while the Grand Alliance led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will win 130-140 seats. (IANS)
The Grand Alliance led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will emerge on top in the assembly elections winning 112-132 seats, a Times Now-CVoter exit poll said on Thursday.
It said the BJP and its allies will secure 101 to 121 seats in the 243-member assembly. Other parties will win between 6 and 14 seats.
In all probability, the Grand Alliance would end up with 122 seats — just about touching the half-way mark — and the BJP-led alliance 111 seats. The remaining 10 seats will go to other parties.
